1
The Museum
<img src="http://cloverleafmiddleschoolart.com/resources/Musuem.jpg">
Our story begins one fine morning at the Cleveland Art Museum. The head curator was moving the M.C. Escher Exhibit from the south side of the museum to the north side. He was hoping to finish before lunch becase the Monet Exhibit was intransit from Chicago.
2Relativity
<img src="http://cloverleafmiddleschoolart.com/resources/Relativity-lattice,-1953.jpg">
While the curator was moving an M.C. Escher work called Relativity there was a sound of something hitting the floor. To the his surprise there was a key and note stuck behind the artwork. Apparently, when he moved the artwork it must loosened and ended up falling to the floor.
3 ............5
The Key
<img src="http://cloverleafmiddleschoolart.com/resources/Key-Coordinates.jpg">
The curator looks a the key and sees a series of numbers on it. He is curious what these could be so he decides to start investgating the different clues on the letter and key. What could they be telling him.

The curator decides to play it safe and the journey has now ended. Thank you for playing and have a great rest of your day.

If you have found this letter I have passed away, but I have left my most prized possession for you to find at my house, which can only be found if you can decipher the information right in front of you. Pizza Place
<img src="http://cloverleafmiddleschoolart.com/resources/Pizza.jpg">
The curator punches in the numbers on the cell phone and to his surprise he heard a voice on the other line. "Mama Robertos Pizza, How can I help you?" He calmly says that he has the wrong number and hangs up the phone. Apparently, this was a dead end so he decides to choose another option.
7......8The Address
<img src="http://cloverleafmiddleschoolart.com/resources/Address.jpg">
The curator looks at the numbers on the key and believes it could be an address. So he travels to a nerby town and arrives at a very normal looking house. He proceeds to knock on the door and without hesitation the door opens. It is a woman wearing a red dress who seems to be in a hurry. You ask about the key and note. She looks at you smiles and then slams the door in your face. Apparently, this was a dead end so he decideds to choose another option.

Coordinates
<img src="http://cloverleafmiddleschoolart.com/resources/Longitude-and-Latitude.jpg">
The curator realizes these numbers can not be a phone number or address, but cordinates to a specific location. The problem is there are four locations to choose from. Maybe he should examine the letter for more information.

House in the Woods

After taking a couple of connecting flights the curator arrived in Leeuwarden, Netherlands. He got information regarding the destination he was looking for and was warned to turn back. Ignoring the advice from the stranger he took a cab to the location. Once dropped off the man behind the wheel of the cab drove off as fast as a jack rabbit running from a wolf.

The curator choose the wrong location, which lead him to lose all his money and job. Next time you should pay more attention to detail.

Finally the curator has arrived at his destination. There's writing on the top of the door that states "THERE IS NO TURNING BACK ONCE YOU ENTER" He thinks to himself and decides he's already come so far there's no way he's going to turn back.

He has finally made it inside to only hear the door lock behind him. He tries to unlock it, but it's not going to budge so he ventures on to explore the inside. There's a musk in the room that almost makes him quezzy, but it appears to be a very old house. He comes across three rooms, which one should he go in first.

Room 1

This room is pretty disgusting, but the curator decides to walk through the doorway only to hear the slamming and locking of the door behind him. He's trapped with no way out so he starts to look around the room and his eyes are fixated on a piece of artwork hanging on the wall.

Correect there is only one vanishing point that is located in the center of the woodcut. MC Escher does a fanastic job of creating contrast he does this using two main shading techniques. What type of shading technique is used in this section of the artwork?
